Qatar Airways is celebrating Australia Day with a promotion offering on airfares to four Australian cities in its network: Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, and Adelaide.
Available on bookings until January 31, United Kingdom (UK) customers can travel to the airline’s four Australian gateways with the launch of flights to Sydney on March 1 and Adelaide on May 2, raising the Australian network to 28 flights a week.
Customers can take advantage of the long travel validity during the promotional offer and book their tickets for travel from February 1 to December 15.
“With these fabulous fares our customers will be able to celebrate Australia Day today by embarking on their own Australian adventure,” said Qatar Airways country manager, UK and Ireland Richard Oliver.
“Whether it is for business or leisure, guests can travel to Australia with fares starting from just £590 while enjoying the Qatar Airways’ award winning in-flight hospitality and service,” he noted.
Qatar Airways’ exceptional airfares are available from London Heathrow, Edinburgh, Manchester, and Birmingham, the airline’s fourth destination in the UK commencing service on March 30.
The new Birmingham route will provide customers in the West Midlands easier access to the Australian gateways connecting via the airline’s hub, the Hamad International Airport (HIA).
Qatar Airways will operate the Airbus A350 on the Adelaide route, for which it is the Global Launch Customer. The new-generation aircraft operates advanced air conditioning technology and LED mood lighting to enhance the comfort of passengers while reducing fatigue after a long flight.
