As part of India’s 67th Republic Day celebrations, a flag hoisting ceremony will be held at the Indian embassy [No. 19, Street No. 828, Wadi Al Neel, Al Hilal Area, Doha] at 8 am on Tuesday (January 26).
Indian ambassador Sanjiv Arora will hoist the tricolour and read the address of Indian president to his compatriots. Students of Indian schools will render patriotic songs at the programme.
Indian nationals are invited to attend the function. Those intend to attend the event should produce their ID at the entrance.
Qatar Charity allocates over QR18mn to support Syrian refugees in Lebanon
Qatar Charity (QC) has allocated more than QR18mn to support and fund projects to serve the Syrian refugees in Lebanon, and displaced persons in areas adjacent to the Syrian border with Lebanon. The announcement came during the Fourth Annual Conference on the situation of Syrian refugees in Lebanon, which concluded in Istanbul yesterday.
