The sixth week of the Aspire Embassies Futsal Tournament has come to a close, following a number of strong performances by the participating teams.
In Group A, Jordan played an impressive game against France and secured an 8-0 win on the first day of the competition, maintaining its lead in the group with 18 points. Also impressive were the United Arab Emirates – currently in second place – who walked away with an 11-4 victory against Spain.  On the second day, Algeria lost to Somalia 8-2, while Kenya maintained its fourth place ranking after its 9-0 win against the United States.
In Group B, Syria maintained its lead following a 12-2 win against Mexico on day 1, while the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia gave a strong performance which led to a 5-0 win against Sri Lanka. On day 2, Group B runners-up Tunisia passed Kuwait with ease, following their 14-2 victory.  With these results, Jordan leads Group A with 18 points, followed by the United Arab Emirates with 12 points and Somalia with 9 points. Meanwhile, Syria leads Group B with 18 points, followed by Tunisia and Ethiopia, who have 9 points each. The embassies participating in the Aspire Embassies Futsal Tournament include Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Jordan, Syria, France, Portugal, Sri Lanka, Somalia, Russia, Spain, Mexico, the United States, Algeria, Tunisia, India, Ethiopia and Kenya.
