HE the Foreign Minister Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah met Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Moscow yesterday.
They discussed relations between Qatar and Russia and means to develop them, including means of facilitating entry visas to Russia for citizens from Qatar and entry visas to citizens from the Russia to Qatar through applications to the two countries embassies within a period not exceeding 24 hours. Competent bodies have been assigned to prepare an agreement to this effect.
They also discussed matters of mutual concern.
After the meeting, the two sides signed an agreement on the exemption of citizens of both countries carrying diplomatic passports from entry visa requirements and another on co-operation in cultural field.
