For the ninth consecutive year, Alfardan Automobiles has partnered with the Qatar Tennis Federation to sponsor the first ATP World Tour tournament for 2016 – the Qatar ExxonMobil Open. The six-day tournament started on Monday, with the official BMW Group importer in Qatar providing a fleet of 50 luxurious BMW vehicles including the BMW 7 Series and the BMW 5 Series to cater for the transportation needs of all players and officials in its role as the tournament’s Official Car.
Tennis fans have been flocking to the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex to see the current World Number One, Novak Djokovic, playing at the Qatar ExxonMobil Open for the second year running as well as the return of Spanish champion Rafael Nadal – both stars will experience the sheer driving pleasure of the brand’s BMW 7 Series and BMW 5  Series models throughout the tournament.
The on-going partnership between Alfardan Automobiles and the Qatar Tennis Federation was confirmed in the presence of  Ihab Allam, General Manager at Alfardan Automobiles and  Karim Alami, Board Member and Tournament Director. “Consistently, we anticipate being a piece of the Qatar ExxonMobil Open competition as it showcases the absolute best in quality, accuracy and execution, values that the BMW brand relates to superbly”

Tennis enthusiasts can watch their favourite players compete on the court while enjoying a display of BMW cars off court, including the recently launched all-new BMW 7 Series, the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe, and the popular BMW X5.
Under the direction of the Qatar Olympic Committee, the Qatar ExxonMobil Open has become one of the most exciting and prestigious tournaments on the ATP Tour circuit. Now in its 24th edition, the star studded event is expected to have 32 players in the singles competition and 16 doubles teams.
