Ahlibank has announced the launch of its new Payroll Card solution.
It is designed to meet the needs of employees who earn up to QR6,000 per month, the bank has said in a statement.
Andrew McKechnie, deputy CEO (retail), said: “I am delighted to launch our new Payroll Card solution for employees. We have specifically designed this product to make everyday banking easier for employees earning up to QR6,000 per month and for employers who can pay salaries direct to their employees Payroll Cards via the new Wage Protection System (WPS) regulations.
Key features include no monthly salary processing charges for employer or Payroll Card holders, free usage of all Ahlibank ATMs, no minimum balance requirement and no monthly charges for cardholders. The card is also enabled for all ATMs and point-of-sale payments in Qatar using NAPS, as well as for usage overseas using the VISA network.
In addition, customers can access a dedicated Payroll Card contact centre.
