Israel’s Defence Minister Ehud Barak shakes hands with General Chen Bingde, chief of the General Staff of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, during their meeting in Tel Aviv yesterday. An Israeli defence ministry statement said Barak and Chen discussed “ties with the Palestinian Authority, the situation in Pakistan and Iran and the fight against international terrorism.”
