The exit ramp ‘D’ leading from Al Kharaitiyat Interchange (N8) onto Al Shamal Road (Doha Bound) will remain closed and traffic will be diverted to a newly constructed diversion with one-lane in each direction and located southwest of the closed exit ramp (as shown in the attached map).
The diversion is set to begin tomorrow (December 23) and will be in place until the fourth quarter of next year. This closure is required to carry out construction works of a bridge and proposed service roads which forms part of the North Road enhancement project, according to an Ashghal statement.
