Qatar’s commercial arbitration law will be due in the first half of 2016, HE Minister of Justice Dr Hassan Lahdan Saqr al-Mhannadi said yesterday.
Speaking at the annual conference of lawyers and arbitrators, which is taking place in Doha, the Minister said that the investment environment in the GCC will see many developments.
Minister attends inauguration of Kuwaiti stadium
HE Qatar’s Minister of Youth and Sports Salah bin Ghanem bin Nasser al-Ali yesterday participated in the inauguration of Jaber al-Ahmed International Stadium, under the patronage of Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmed al-Sabah.
The Minister of Youth and Sports wished the Kuwaiti leadership and people further progress. He expressed his hope that the new stadium will host many prominent sporting events in the future.
His Excellency also extended his congratulations to Kuwait’s Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman al-Hamoud al-Sabah.
The 400,000-sq-m stadium can take up to 60,000 spectators.
