HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani opened yesterday the Floating Platforms Project (Yamal I and Yamal II) at Ras Laffan Industrial City. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Their Excellencies ministers and the country’s guests. HE the Prime Minister made a tour during which he was briefed on the capacity of the port and its contribution to increasing the local storage of raw materials with the aim of contributing to the realisation of Qatar National Vision 2030, in addition to the mechanism of control, transport and storage that take into account the highest security and safety standards.
