HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment, yesterday chaired the council’s sixth meeting this year at the Emiri Diwan.
HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani, Vice-President of the council, attended the meeting along with HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani, the council’s Executive Member, and the members of the council.
HE the Minister of Finance Ali Sherif al-Emadi, the council’s Secretary-General, told QNA that the meeting discussed topics on the agenda including investment affairs, the council’s draft budget for 2016, Qatar Investment Authority’s draft budget for 2016 and investments strategy and Qatar Petroleum’s draft budget for 2016. The Council took the necessary measures thereon.
