Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index lost 75.32 points (0.71%) when the bourse closed trading at 10,479.28 points on Thursday.
The daily turnover decreased to QR 213.221mn with a volume of 5,021,527 shares from 3,102 deals compared with QR 467.298bn with a volume of 6,406,676 shares from 4,541 deals on Wednesday.
Indices of six sectors ended in the red and one sector ended in green. Telecom index was in the red, down 5.50% to 955.84 points and Insurance sector index increased 0.67% to 4,300.78 points.
QSE Total Return Index dropped 0.71% when it closed at 16,288.54 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index closed 0.61% to 3,895.22 points while QSE All Share Index decreased 0.72% to 2,789.90 points.
Out of 43 companies listed on QSE, 41 traded on Thursday. Of these, 11 gained, 28 closed lower and two remained unchanged.
