The Qatar-based Nepalese singer Yubraj Chhantyal has released a song detailing the hard lives that Nepalese have been living since the earthquake that struck Nepal in April. Faced with shortages, the song essays the determination of the Nepalese people to work through these difficulties and come out stronger. Chhantyal is originally from Baglung, west of Kathmandu, and has some popular folk songs under his belt. The song also features the voice of Radhika Hamal (when she came to Qatar recently) and Devika KC. The lyrics of the song were penned by Yubraj Chhantyal, and the music composed by Mangal B C. The music video of the song was recently released by Sahara Films and Entertainment. The video was directed by Shivan Pokheral and Ishwor Ballav Upreti, edited by Adhinayak Man Sherchan, and shot by Ajay Regmi. The video features Shankar BC, Shivan Pokhrel, Niru Khadka and Suresh Thapa, among others and was shot at various locations around Doha in addition to Nepal. Seen here are stills from the music video’s shoot.
