Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 19.55 points (+0.19%) when the bourse closed trading at 10,554.60 points on Wednesday.
The daily turnover decreased to QR 467.298mn with a volume of 6,406,676 shares from 4,541 deals compared with QR 687.215bn with a volume of 15,344,771 shares from 8,028 deals on Tuesday.
Indices of five sectors ended in the green and two sectors ended red, while Telecom index was up 6.82 % to 1,011.51 points and Industries sector index increased 1.45% to 3,125.29 points.
QSE Total Return Index gained 0.19 % when it closed at 16,405.61 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index closed 0.63% to 3,918.93 points and QSE All Share Index was up 0.14% to 2,810.15 points.
Out of 43 companies listed on QSE, 40 traded. Of these, 17 gained, 19 closed lower and four remained unchanged.
