Al-Kaabi said the event highlighted “the commitment and dedication of QP staff as well as our gratitude to the wide spectrum of competencies of our human capital, whose devoted efforts have helped make Qatar Petroleum what it is today.”
At the event he said Qatar Petroleum recognised the fact “that it is always about people.”
He said: “It is about talents and knowledge. It is about dedication and commitment to all the values and ideals that shape and define our corporation.”
“I am forever proud of the quality and calibre of our human capital, whose true value has been tested and proven, day after day, year after year,” al-Kaabi concluded.
QP’s CSA ceremony was held at the auditorium of the new QP headquarters in West Bay, and it was attended by the corporation’s top executives and other senior officials.

The awardees are from QP’s various directorates and departments, and they work in the corporation’s range of operational areas in Doha, Dukhan, Mesaieed, Ras Laffan, Halul Island and offshore production stations.
During the event, al-Kaabi personally congratulated the honoured employees and presented each one of them with a ‘certificate of appreciation’ and  gift as a token of gratitude for their valued contribution in QP’s continued growth and development over the years.
The event was the first of two recognition ceremonies; the second one is planned to be held on November 22, where 630 employees who have completed 10 and 15 years of service with QP will be honoured.
The annual CSA ceremony was organised by QP’s Public Relations and Communications Department in partnership with the Human Capital Directorate.
