The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC) has announced the recall of 2013-2014 models of Dodge Viper due to a defect in the door lock, the official Qatar News Agency reported.
The recall campaign is being conducted in co-operation with United Cars Almana, the dealer of Dodge vehicles in Qatar.
The recall comes within the framework of ongoing co-ordination and follow-up by the ministry to ascertain the extent of car dealerships’ commitment to following up on vehicle defects and repairing them to protect consumer rights.
The MEC has stressed that it will co-ordinate with the dealership to follow up on maintenance and repair operations and will communicate with customers to ensure implementation of the procedures to fix defects.
The ministry has urged consumers to report irregularities to the Department of Consumer Protection and Commercial Fraud Combat.
