HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday sent a cable of condolences to French President Francois Hollande on the deaths that occurred in Paris as a result of Friday night’s terrorist attacks. The Emir condemned the terrorist attacks, saying they contradicted all moral, human and religious principles. He said the attacks targeted the country’s security and stability as well as the lives of innocent people. The Emir expressed his wishes of a speedy recovery to the injured and stressed Qatar’s denouncement of terrorism regardless of its motives. HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani also sent cables of condolences to President Hollande.

Qatar condemns  attacks
Qatar has strongly condemned the armed attacks and bombings that have struck Paris, causing so many victims.
The Foreign Ministry said in a statement that such acts aimed at destabilising security “contradict with all moral and humanitarian principles and values”.
The statement reiterated “Qatar’s firm stance which rejects violence in all its forms and manifestations whatever its motives and causes”.
The Foreign Ministry expressed Qatar’s condolences to the families of the victims killed by the attacks, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
