Hassad Food has announced its participation in the fourth Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition (Agriteq) 2015, which begins at Doha Exhibition Centre today.
Supported by the Ministry of Environment, this year’s three-day exhibition will see the participation of a large number of major international and local institutions, as well as private companies specialising in the agricultural sector and its products.
Hassad Food’s stand will showcase a “diverse set of high-quality products” from several of its subsidiaries.
While Hassad Australia will display chilled livestock and live Awassi Syrian sheep, Hassad Qatar will showcase high-quality fodder products.
Premium dates and olive oil will be on display from the production of Mahaseel, and Roza Hassad will display a selection of its finest flowers along with fresh vegetables, freshly cropped from its greenhouses in Sheehanyia.
Additionally, Senwan Pakistan will display several of its rice brands, while Zulal Oasis - another subsidiary of Hassad Food - will provide visitors with a presentation about its new hydroponics technology as well as other services it currently offers.
Nasser Mohamed al-Hajri, chairman and managing director of Hassad Food, said: “We are privileged to take part in the exhibition.
Agriteq has established itself in the field of agriculture over the past years and successfully managed to attract the world’s top specialists in the field by providing them with a great platform for exchanging experiences and best practices.”
