Leading jeweller Joyalukkas recently opened three new showrooms in Qatar and re-launched one outlet. This was part of the company’s expansion drive in the GCC and India, where 12 showrooms were opened in the last week of October.
Joyalukkas opened new showrooms at the Safari Mall (Abu Hamour), Al Watan Centre (Airport Road) and Barwa Village (Wakrah) and re-launched its outlet at the LuLu Hypermarket in Gharafa on October 30.
The Al Watan Centre showroom was inaugurated by Commercial Bank CEO Abdullah Saleh al-Raisi, while the Safari Mall outlet was inaugurated by Malaysian ambassador Dato Ahmad Jazri Johar and his wife Datin Sabariah Jazri in the presence of the Thai envoy’s wife, Sathathip Laismit, and the Vietnamese ambassador’s wife, Chao Anh Nguyen.
The Barwa Village showroom was inaugurated by Farhan Johar A Ali Suwaidi, retired Ministry of Interior and immigration department captain.
The LuLu Hypermarket, Gharafa, outlet was re-launched by Hassan Ali Mohamed Kamal, corporate branch manager at Doha Bank.
Joyalukkas Group executive director John Paul Joy Alukkas was present at all three inaugurations and the re-launch, along with a number of local dignitaries and VIPs.
The back-to-back inaugurations in Qatar and other countries were in keeping with the objective of Joyalukkas chairman and MD to make the brand more accessible to all jewellery lovers. The company has “major expansion plans” across the world over the next two years. “We are very pleased that our goals to expand rapidly across GCC and India are coming to fruition according to schedule,” said John Paul Joy Alukkas.
