The new season of Qatar International Endurocross kicks off tomorrow at Sealine. This off road championship organised by Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation is formed by four rounds where the Endurocross off-road races are designed to test the endurance and off-road desert riding skills of the rider mixing enduro with motocross. Each race will be run over a mix of different types of desert terrain and will last for 30 minutes plus 1 lap,  each round consists of 2 races and there are 3 classes for motorcycles (E1, E2 and Veterans) and 1 class for quads.
In the E1 category, Meshari Abou Shaibah will defend the title he clinched last season, when he won all the races and score the maximum, 200 points. The Kuwaiti rider will battle will his country mate Moath al-Ansari who ended in second position and Saeed al-Shenqiti from UAE in third place
The British rider Jake Preston won the E2 category last season with the second position for Mohammed Jaffar from Kuwait and the Emirati rider Mohammed al-Balooshi in third place.
In the veterans category the winner in last season was the French rider Yannic Le Gourvenec and Mohammed al-Khulaifi from Kuwait won the Quads category.
Action will start at 9:30 with the free practice and the first race of the day for the bikes is scheduled at 10:35 and at 13:00 for the quads. Race 2 will be at 13:50 for the bikes and at 14:15 for the quads. Podium ceremony will be at 15:10
