The Public Works Authority, Ashghal, has announced a temporary closure from Thursday evening for 250m of the right entrance lanes on Mohamed bin Thani Street, leading from the Corniche Street to Al Bidaa Street at the Qatar National Theatre Intersection.
The closure, as shown in the map, will be in place until early on Sunday. During this period, vehicles heading from the Corniche Street to Al Bidaa Street should use Rumaila Roundabout and enter Al Bidaa Street and continue northwards.
The traffic closure is caused by works related to the second phase of the Corniche Road Improvement Project.
Ashghal will install road signs to advise motorists of the closure. The authority has requested all road users to abide by the speed limits, and follow the road signs to ensure safety.
