The chiefs of staff of the GCC member states being received on arrival in Doha.

 

The chiefs of staff of the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) states arrived in Doha yesterday to participate in the third session of the Supreme Military Committee which will be held in Doha today and
tomorrow.
Saudi Chief of General Staff General Abdul Rahman al-Bunyan, Chief of Staff of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces Lieutenant General Hamad Mohamed Thani al-Rumaithi, Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwait Armed Forces Lieutenant General Mohamed Khaled al-Khadher and his accompanying delegation, Oman’s Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces Lieutenant General Ahmed bin Harith al-Nabhani and Bahrain defence force chief of staff Lieutenant General Dhiab bin Saqr al-Nuaimi
 arrived in Doha yesterday.
The GCC chiefs of staff were welcomed upon their arrival at Hamad International Airport by HE the Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces Major General Pilot Ghanim bin Shaheen al-Ghanim, and GCC Assistant Secretary-General for Military Affairs Major General Khalifa Humaid al-Kaabi, and several senior officers of the armed forces.
