Halul Offshore Services Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Milaha, has won Seatrade ‘Offshore Marine Award for Owners & Operators’ in recognition of its operational and financial success despite the current challenges in the offshore marine services market.
The award, which Halul also won in 2013, was handed over at Seatrade Maritime Awards ceremony for the Middle East, Indian subcontinent, and Africa, held in Dubai on October 19.
“Halul is an integral part of our group’s vision to become a globally-recognised player in the maritime services sector, and its success is a recognition for the entire group” and the award comes at a time despite a challenging time for the offshore industry,” said Milaha president and chief executive Abdulrahman Essa al-Mannai.
“This recognition by Seatrade and our peers in the industry would not have been possible without the concerted efforts of our wonderful team at Halul who have demonstrated on a daily basis the highest levels of commitment to operational and environmental safety,” according to Vivek Seth, Halul’s chief executive.
