The Qatar Global Education Fair will be organised on October 27 and 28 by BMI Global Education Fairs at Sheraton Doha from 3pm to 8pm.
The event is part of a series of events which take place in Asian cities, including Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Kuwait, and South America this month.
“The Qatar Global Education Fair will provide students with all the necessary tools to take the first important step to realise their goal of studying abroad or at prestigious Qatari institutions such as Qatar University and Hamad Bin Khalifa University,” an official said.
The event will give students and parents the opportunity to speak directly to representatives from more than 10 countries, including the US, the UK, Canada, France and Qatar.
Participating institutions will include international language schools, boarding and high schools as well as universities offering a wide range of courses.
During the event, there will be seminars from experts on study abroad covering topics such as choosing the right course, the application process and how an international qualification can help advance career.
Other seminars will cover visa requirements and major international institutions and study destinations.
Entrance to the fair is free and visitors are advised to pre-register for fast track entry at the event website: www.globaleducationfairs.net
