Qatar Airways (QA) has announced new partnerships with Booking.com and Rentalcars.com, providing its passengers with an easy and cost-effective way to access competitively priced places to stay and car rentals when booking their flights via the airline’s website, www.qatarairways.com.
Under the partnerships, Qatar Airways’ passengers can book and pay online for accommodation at more than 800,000 properties in nearly 83,000 exciting destinations and rent from more than 40,000 car rental locations in some 167 countries. This also provides the airline’s Frequent Flyer Programme Privilege Club members the opportunity to earn Qmiles for every hotel room and car rental booking made through the website.
“Qatar Airways is excited to have partnered with Booking.com and Rentalcars.com, both among the world’s leading booking platforms for travellers,” said airline’s chief commercial officer, Hugh Dunleavy.
Qatar Airways has a new customer-focused, interactive website, designed for a seamless user-friendly experience. The website ensures rapid, easy and intuitive navigation through various modules, making booking with Qatar Airways effortless. In addition to updating themselves on their current flight status, passengers can also select additional services from the various value-for-money offers Qatar Airways has with hotel and car partners and even book a holiday package.
“We are very enthusiastic about this new partnership with Qatar Airways. It creates enhanced value and incredible convenience for consumers by empowering them to easily discover more amazing places to stay from Booking.com when booking their travel with Qatar Airways,” said Bryan Batista, head (strategic partnerships) at Booking.com.
“We’re delighted to be partnering with Qatar Airways and offer their passengers a simple, transparent and affordable way to experience car rental. We are eager to add value to their seamless customer journey by creating more opportunities to travel further,” said Ady Guthrie, global director (Rentalcars Connect) the strategic partnerships arm of Rentalcars.com.
“This partnership is also exciting as it presents an opportunity to work alongside our sister company, Booking.com. Together we can provide a unique, conversion driven accommodation and car rental integration that will maximise Qatar Airways ancillary revenues.”
