The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC), in collaboration with Chevrolet’s sole distributor in Qatar, Jaidah Automotive, has announced the recall of Chevrolet Caprice and Chevrolet Lumina 2011-2013 models as the driver’s knee could bump the ignition key.
The recall comes within the framework of the ongoing co-ordination and follow-up by the ministry to ascertain the dealers’ commitment to follow up defects and repair them to protect consumers’ rights.
MEC has also affirmed that it will co-ordinate with Jaidah Automotive to follow up the necessary maintenance and repair processes and will communicate with clients to ensure the success of the recall campaign as well as the implementation of the procedures to fix defects.
