Ooredoo has announced the launch of a new promotion that will enable Hala International Saver Key customers to make calls to Nepal Telecom numbers at discounted rates.
With the latest offer, any new or existing Hala customers who subscribe to the International Saver Key will be able to take advantage of a promotional tariff of 20Dhs per minute for all calls to numbers on the
Nepal Telecom network.
Currently, calls to Nepal cost 45Dhs per minute via the Hala International Saver Key. The new offer will allow customers to save 25Dhs per minute on calls to loved ones for the duration of the promotion, which runs until October 24.
“The offer has been developed after strong demand from the Nepalese community, which is the second largest expatriate population in Qatar. This is the lowest ever Nepal calling promotion from Ooredoo, beating even the low cost of the dedicated Hala Nepal Key, launched in 2014,” the company said in a statement yesterday.
The Hala International Key costs QR1 a week and can be activated by sending the SMS ‘ISK’ to 121. The key will renew automatically every week so that customers can continue to save.
Also among the countries covered by the International Keys are other popular call destinations such as India, Egypt, Pakistan, the UK, the Philippines and South Africa.
Ooredoo has a full range of options for Hala and Shahry customers looking to save money on international calling, the statement adds.
