Qatar University (QU) vice president and chief academic officer Dr Mazen Hasna has been named among the highly cited researchers in Thomson Reuters list of 2015.
Dr Hasna was recognised as the only highly cited researcher in QU and Qatar as a whole for his research in Computer Science.
Dr Hasna’s achievement stands among 3,000 researchers who earned this distinction of exceptional impact due to writing the greatest number of research papers in the period 2003-2013. This has ranked them among the top 1% most cited for their respective subject area and year of publication.
Dr Mazen Hasna attributed his achievement as a testament to QU’s ongoing commitment to encourage quality faculty output and impactful research in areas of national priorities.
