Ooredoo has announced that it is distributing gifts to people performing the Haj in Makkah this Eid al-Adha, for the sixth year in a row.
Ooredoo has distributed the free packs to a number of Haj trip organisers across Qatar. These include ihrams, a special item of white clothing worn for performing the Haj, along with towels and a personal care tool set.
This year, the company is also providing an Ooredoo Passport as part of the gift pack to ensure that people can contact home during their pilgrimage. The Ooredoo Passport includes 100 roaming minutes and 2GB of roaming data, and is available on all networks in Saudi Arabia, including STC, Mobily and Zain.
Fatima Sultan al-Kuwari, director of community and public relations at Ooredoo, said: “Ooredoo is proud to help aid pilgrims on their spiritual journey and is pleased to provide this small token of support. We wish all our customers Eid Mubarak and hope the pilgrims have a safe and rewarding trip.”
The company has a host of celebrations planned for the Eid al-Adha holiday, including the Alrabaa mascots who will be at the Gondolania Theme Park in Villagio distributing free tickets for games and meals for children.
Customers can follow Ooredoo’s Eid campaign via its Facebook, Instagram or Twitter page and the hashtag #EidwithOoredoo.
