Qatar University (QU) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with malomatia to support the objectives of the QU Continuing Education Office (CEO) in identifying and developing training and educational programmes that meet and fulfil the needs of the Qatari society.
The agreement was signed by QU president Dr Hassan al-Derham and malomatia managing director Yousef al-Naama.
Under the terms of the agreement, malomatia - a leading provider of technology services and solutions in Qatar - will provide the CEO with e-learning solutions such as products and services, as well as training courses and programmes in various areas related to e-learning solutions.
Commenting on the agreement, Dr al-Derham said: “What is exciting about this initiative is that it brings together expertise in education, research and today’s most powerful tools in information technology for the benefit of students from Qatar University and other institutions. The agreement reflects QU’s enthusiasm for offering services that empower students with the knowledge, experience and skills for lifelong learning, enabling them to make significant contributions in driving the country’s development and growth.”
On his part, al-Naama said: “malomatia is keen to support the advancement of education, which is a pillar of Qatar’s ongoing development. This MoU with QU underscores a commitment to focus on delivering innovative e-learning solutions.”
