Q-Auto, the official dealer for Audi in Qatar, has announced the launch of the latest Audi Q3 in the country.
“As the youngest member of Audi’s Q range series, the new SUV now includes a series of distinguished enhancements to emerge as the ultimate companion for everyday use,” according to a statement issued yesterday.
The redesigned Audi Q3 features the characteristic sculpted Singleframe grille at the front of the car, illuminated by energy-efficient headlights with xenon plus technology and LED daytime running lights. The new design incorporates coupe-like lines up front and in the rear underscore, giving the SUV its crossover appeal, the statement notes.
The Q3 has been specifically built for comfort, which is evident in its carefully structured chassis that combines agile handling with supreme safety. The Audi drive select technology, including the hill-descent assist, further aids the driver to efficiently manoeuvre key technology modules.
“The versatility of the Audi Q3 is also manifested by its plush interior, which offers ample space in all five seating positions. The cargo compartment boasts an incredible capacity of 460 litres that can be easily upgraded to 1,365 litres by folding down the split rear seatbacks,” the statement adds.
Powered by “state-of-the-art” TFSI technology, the car’s four-cylinder engines provide higher output with reduced fuel consumption and CO² emissions. Leaving its predecessors behind, the Q3 engines produce between 150hp and 220hp – a 10hp increase in power. The compact SUV has a top speed of 233km/h and can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 6.4 seconds.
“The improvement in engine performance is complemented by a significant advancement in the car’s luxurious infotainment system that guarantees a seamless in-car experience. Promising additions to its standard equipment include LED interior lighting package and the power-adjustable front seats, along with a host of driver assistance systems such as the Audi side assist and the Audi active lane assist,” the statement further explains.
Ala Makey, sales manager at Audi Qatar, said: “With a range of technical innovations and a fresh new design, the latest model is an impressive leap in the Q3 series evolution. We are certain that the Q3 will make a resounding impact in the market.”
The Q3 is available at the main Audi showroom on Salwa Road at a starting price of QR121,400. The Audi dealership gives customers a number of options to purchase the Audi Q3, including in-house financing.
