The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC), in collaboration with Chevrolet’s sole distributor in Qatar, Jaidah Automotive, has announced the recall of Chevrolet Camaro 2011-2012 models due to defects in the height adjuster for front seats.
The recall is in line with the ministry’s efforts to ascertain dealers’ commitment to following up on defects and repairing them to protect consumer rights, according to a statement.
The MEC has stressed that it will co-ordinate with Jaidah Automotive to follow up on the necessary maintenance and repair processes and communicate with clients to ensure the success of the recall campaign as well as the implementation of the procedures to fix defects.
