Fiji ran in five tries to rout Canada 47-18 in a Rugby World Cup warm-up in London yesterday, sending a warning to England ahead of the tournament opener in 12 days.
Scrumhalf Niko Matawalu and winger Waisea Nayacalevu both scored two tries and Metuisela Talebula added a fifth at The Stoop in southwest London, a few hundred metres away from Twickenham where the World Cup begins with England-Fiji opening clash.
Giant winger Nemani Nadolo was flawless off the kicking tee, slotting 22 points for Fiji. Canada's tries came from Conor Trainor and a late brace from Phil Mackenzie.
