Ooredoo has launched new monthly recurring business messaging packs, designed to give business customers a more cost-effective way to contact their local and international customers in 2015.
The Ooredoo “Business Messaging Service” is a mobile marketing tool that offers companies an efficient way to send bulk messages to mobile devices and smartphones, the telecom network said in a statement.
According to Ooredoo, companies can contact large groups of people using the service to promote their products, services and ideas, or send promotions, booking confirmations, reminders or news to drive their business, and save cost and time with an effective response.
Ooredoo said it has improved the pricing by introducing three new high-volume SMS packs. It has also increased the value received by customers, by reducing the local price of each package and increasing the number of message recipients in each.
The new packs come in three bundles of 450,000, 300,000 and 150,000, which offer a range of local and international text messages.
Pack 450,000 contains 8.5mn text messages, while pack 300,000 contains more than 5mn text messages, and pack 150,000 includes 2.3mn text messages, with a reduced rate of up to QR0.05 per local SMS and QR0.20 with each international SMS.
The three high-volume SMS packs enable Qatar’s diverse businesses to take control of services they need. The packs have been designed to help establish and maintain business relationships between clients and their customers, and are strong mobile marketing tools to communicate promotions, new services, special greetings, important corporate information, and much more.
Ooredoo’s launch of the new “Business Messaging Packs” are part of the company’s wider strategy of focusing on the needs of the business sector and investing in its expanding portfolio of business services on its bigger and faster network.
