Beijing: Qatar’s Dahlan al-Hamad has been re-elected as International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) Vice-President for a new four-year term.
Al-Hamad was re-elected at the 50th IAAF Congress which was held in Beijing yesterday, on the sidelines of the IAAF World Championships due to begin in Beijing on Saturday.
Al-Hamad is President of Qatar Athletics Federation (QAF) as well as President of the Asian Athletics Association (AAA). He has been a Council Member of International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) since 2003 and Vice President since 2007.
