Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index dropped 109.74 points (-0.93) when the bourse closed trading at 11,734.69 points on Monday.
The daily turnover decreased to QR 169,77mn with a volume of 3,509,637 shares from 2,650 deals compared to QR 197.57mn with a volume of 4,453,568 shares from 3,275 deals on Sunday.
The market capitalisation decreased to QR 619,63bn from QR 624.88bn registered on Sunday.
Indices of seven sectors ended in red.
Real estate index dropped -1.33% to 2,724.48 points. Insurance index decreased -1.57% to 4,828.55 points and Telecom Index declined -1.57% to 1,060.86 points.
QSE Total Return Index decreased to -0.93% to 18,239.89 points, QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index lost -1.09% to 4,556.75 points and QSE All Share Index dropped -0.79% to 3,133.92 points.
Of the 43 companies listed on QSE, investors exchanged shares of 41. Of them, seven gained, 32 went down, and two unchanged.
