Though they have the best intentions, SpongeBob and Patrick are always causing trouble, and plenty of laughs. When he is not at the Krusty Krab grilling up some epic Krabby Patties, SpongeBob can be found jellyfishing with Patrick, blowing bubbles, or annoying his favourite neighbour, Squidward.
This Eid al-Fitr, it is time for children to meet and follow the adventures of the world’s most loveable sponge and his starfish sidekick. SpongeBob, Patrick, Dora, Boots and Diego besides a host of popular characters from leading children’s entertainment channel Nickelodeon are going to star in their very own live mall show here.
The family event, coming to Doha for the very first time, will be held at Ezdan Mall from July 17 to July 21. The ‘Meet the Nicktoons’ live show brings young fans together to celebrate a very special Nickelodeon Day.
Promising to thrill and entertain them, the show invites children to come and explore with Dora, play with Boots and Diego and laugh along with SpongeBob and Patrick.
SpongeBob SquarePants and his teammates from their under the sea home, ‘Bikini Bottom’ set out on many adventures and each one of them is not be missed.
Meet Squidward Tentacles, SpongeBob’s not-so-happy neighbour. He would do anything to get away from him. Unfortunately for Squidward, he and SpongeBob are also co-workers at the Krusty Krab. This clarinet-playing cashier just wants some peace and quiet. He likes art, bubble baths and reading and hates SpongeBob, waking up and life in general.
Krabs is SpongeBob’s employer. If Krabs had a dollar for every time he thought about a dollar, he would be a millionaire. For now, he is the owner of the Krusty Krab, Bikini Bottom’s number 1 restaurant. This crab will do anything to make a buck. Luckily for him, SpongeBob is the most loyal employee around. Krabs likes money, dollars, and coins and dislikes The Chum Bucket, The Sea Chicken Shack and unhappy customers.
Just because Sandy Cheeks is a Squirrel doesn’t mean she cannot live at the bottom of the ocean. With her oxygen suit and glassed-in ‘Treedome’ home, Sandy can breathe easy as Bikini Bottom’s only Texan. From science experiments to extreme sports, Sandy is one well-rounded squirrel. She loves science, karate and competition and she hates sissies, losing and Texas haters.
SpongeBob’s pet snail may seem a bit simple, but Gary is actually quite intelligent. Even though he can only meow, he dreams of mahogany bookshelves and fine arts. He can’t catch a frisbee or fetch slippers… but he can teleport and levitate. Gary is the best pet snail around. He loves SpongeBob besides sleeping and poetry while he hates Squidward, leashes and empty boxes of snail bites.
Sheldon J. Plankton is a pint-sized microbe with an evil plan, to steal the Krusty Krabs’ secret Krabby Patty recipe. Along with his computer wife, K.A.R.E.N., Plankton is always scheming to rule the restaurant business and with that the world. Too bad his restaurant is called The Chum Bucket. He of course loves evil robots, K.A.R.E.N. and world domination and which is why he dislikes the Krusty Krab, competition and failing.
And, have you been living under a rock? Patrick Star has which is probably why he calls pencils ‘writing sticks’ and doesn’t know if mayonnaise is an instrument or not. Even though his attention span is approximately .02 seconds long, Patrick is still the sweetest starfish around. He loves Jellyfishing, donuts and sleeping and spiders, thinking and bullies scare him.
There will be three daily performances of the show featuring these much-loved characters from Nickelodeon at the Ezdan Mall every day from July 17.
