Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has announced the vaccination schedule during Ramadan against meningitis, seasonal influenza and pneumococcal for pilgrims travelling for performing Haj and Umrah.
Taking these vaccinations is vital for preventing the spread of infectious diseases in populated environment. PHCC is aiming to raise awareness among pilgrims to be attentive of their health and safety to avoid any communicable diseases.
The following health centres will be working both in the morning and evening for vaccination on the given days. Umm Salal -Tuesday and Thursday, Al Daayen– Monday and Wednesday, Madinat Khalifa– Monday and Wednesday, Al Rayyan – Monday and Thursday, Al Gharrafa - Sunday and Wednesday, Omar Bin Al Khattab - From Sunday to Thursday,
Al Khor - Tuesday and Thursday, Al Wakrah - Sunday and Wednesday, West Bay - Sunday and Tuesday, Al Shamal - Monday and Thursday, Abu Baker Seddiq - Sunday and Wednesday, Abu Nakhla - Sunday and Wednesday, Airport - Tuesday and Thursday, Al Sheehaniya - Tuesday and Thursday, Umm Ghwailina - Monday and Thursday, Al Muntazah - Wednesday and Thursday,
Mesaimeer Health Centre will be providing the services from Sunday to Thursday  in the morning shift and on Saturday in the evening.

Al Ghuwariyah health centre to open on July 5

Al Ghuwariyah health centre’s new building will open on July 5, the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) announced in a press release.
The new centre will include general clinics, vaccine clinics, labs, pharmacy and medical commission clinic for Qataris. Scans and dentistry clinic will be added later.
Working hours at the current Al Ghuwariyah centre during Ramadan will be divided into two shifts; from 8am to 11am and from 8pm to 10pm until July 2. When it opens, the new centre will work a single shift during Ramadan from 8am to 1pm, while after Ramadan the working hours will extend to 5pm.
PHCC had announced earlier that it will open three new health centres this year, namely: Al Ghuwariyah, Al Karaana and Leibeib.
