The Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) has named Ghanim al-Muftah (pictured) as its brand ambassador.
“Ghanim al-Muftah is an accomplished young Qatari and an inspiration to many. His diverse contributions to our community and his perseverance in the face of difficulties are further proof of his determination to succeed. The idea behind this partnership is to underline the QFC’s philosophy that great success comes from great support,” QFC Authority chief executive Yousuf al-Jaida said.
Al-Muftah figured during a premiere of the QFC’s latest television commercial (TVC) on Qatar TV.
In the TVC, al-Muftah is featured skateboarding. The camera then shifts focus from him to his father Mohamed al-Muftah, the support behind his success and who played a key role behind the scenes in encouraging his son and facilitating his success.
“We chose to partner with the QFC because we believe that facilitating the success of those around us is a shared passion. Ghanim al-Muftah’s ability to achieve his potential has inspired young people around the world to make the most of the opportunities presented to them and I’m proud to be a small part of his success,” Mohamed al-Muftah said.
Sheikh Mohamed al-Thani’s Mount Everest ascent was featured in the first TVC which focused on the support he received from Kami Rita Sherpa, an integral member of his climbing team.
