Elan Events, a subsidiary of Elan Group, has announced that it has become a certified member of the UFI - Union des Foires Internationales/The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry.
Elan Events has received the certification in the Exhibition Organisers category and is now part of an esteemed global network of event organisers that includes 659 members from 83 countries.
The certification “reinforces Elan Events’ market leadership as an organisation committed to hosting events that fully comply with international standards and those required by the UFI”, according to a statement.
The annual Qatar Motor Show has been awarded with a UFI Approved Event status, “further strengthening the show’s global popularity and its increasing prominence on the world stage”, the statement notes.
The certification is based on two key criteria - the number of direct foreign exhibitors and the total number of visits or visitors.
