Doha: Imran Ashraf engineered a huge victory for Al Feroz Youngsters against Bangladesh Club during the QCA Twenty20 Division A Tournament with his stellar all-round performance.
Ashraf first smashed 36 in his team’s 189 for seven in 20 overs and then grabbed four wickets, including a hat-trick, to send the rivals crashing to a 75-run defeat.
Ashraf’s knock topped the batting for Al Feroz Youngsters. But there were a few other useful knocks from his teammates as well.
Mujeeb struck 33, Inam also hit 33, Faisal got 30, while Zahid Khan and Zahid Mehmood made 20 and 19, respectively.
Inamul picked three wickets and Sagar earned two. Still Al Ferez Youngsters managed to put up a formidable total.
Bangladesh failed to get going and collapsed after Ashraf dismissed four players and Haris collected a brace. Muhahid was the highest scorer with 28. Rashed followed him with 19, while Sagar contributed 14 and Inamul chipped in 13.
