International Bank of Qatar (IBQ) has announced the 21st winner of its monthly prize draw for the IBQ loyalty programme, thanq.
This month’s winner, Qatar Airways commercial officer Sarel Boshoff, won 100,000 thanq reward points after being in the thanq programme for only three months. He received the prize from IBQ head of Sales Sherif Gamil in a ceremony held at the bank’s headquarters.
IBQ head of Retail Banking Hassan al-Mulla said, “We are happy to award another winner of our monthly thanq draw and extend to him our congratulations.
“Our award-winning thanq programme rewards customers and shows how much we value their loyalty to our brand, services, and products, and gives them the opportunity to benefit from amazing offers to travel the world.”
Boshoff said he was already planning to go to Sri Lanka on holiday in August. “I was delighted to win thanq points as these will go towards my hotel accommodation,” he said.
As an IBQ customer, Boshoff said he particularly enjoyed the flexibility of transferring money to his home country, South Africa. “The service in the Qatar Airways IBQ branch was always good,” he stressed.
The thanq rewards programme gives customers the chance to gather points across a wide range of IBQ products and services and then redeem them by booking flights on more than 800 airlines and accommodation in 160,000 hotels worldwide to the destination of their choice.
