The Supreme Council of Health (SCH) has issued a circular to all pharmacies in Qatar to withdraw batch number (N066) and (N143) of Panadol 100ml syrup for children and babies.
The Pharmacy Management and Drug Control Department of SCH explained that an error was detected in the printing of the dosage information on the outer packaging by the manufacturer of the medicine, GlaxoSmithKline.
The administration has assured the public that there is no defect in the property and that the quality of the rest of the batches of the medicine currently available in the country is safe for use.
