Ooredoo has announced the inauguration of two of its next generation Self Service Machines (SSMs) at Katara cultural village and Hamad International Airport (HIA).
The new SSMs will soon be primed to enable customers to instantly register and purchase pre-loaded Hala SIM cards, and also pay outstanding bills via cheque, as well as offer a host of services available on the current generation of SSMs. The SSM placed in Katara will be seen by a high number of tourists, while the HIA will be accessible to thousands of families and business travellers throughout the year. The HIA SSM is in the departures area, so that residents can pay their bills and upgrade their services before they travel. The next generation SSMs, launched at the end of 2014 on a trial basis, are currently available at strategic sites across Qatar including Souq Waqif and Ezdan Mall.
In addition to registering for services via the Ooredoo SSMs, customers can also pay Ooredoo Shahry and Kahramaa bills, top-up Hala accounts, donate to charities and purchase vouchers for a range of shopping and dining experiences for popular brands in Qatar.
