Doha Bank will today officially inaugurate its Indian operations at the Trident Hotel, Mumbai.
The inaugural ceremony will be attended by several high-profile dignitaries including Finance Minister HE Ali Sherif al-Emadi, Qatar Central Bank Governor HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Saoud al-Thani and India’s Federal Minister of Railways Suresh Prabhu.
The ceremony will also be attended by the Indian Ambassador to Qatar Sanjiv Arora  and Qatar’s Ambassador to India Ahmed Ibrahim al-Abdullah.
Leaders from key corporates, prominent dignitaries from Gulf countries as well as India along with senior members from the banking community in India are also expected to take part.
Doha Bank will be represented by Sheikh Fahad bin Mohamad bin Jabor al-Thani, chairman; Sheikh Abdul Rehman bin Mohamad bin Jabor al-Thani, managing director; Ahmed al-Khal, board member and R Seetharaman, Group Chief Executive along with the senior management team.
