$608mn deal for mega reservoirs
Habtoor Leighton Group (HLG) has won a $608mn contract to build mega reservoirs and pumping stations as part of a project by Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa). According to a reported published by Arabianbusiness.com, portal, HLG has been appointed by Kahramaa to build, test and commission five reservoirs as well as pumping stations, pipework, and civil, structure and MEP works for one of its primary reservoir and pumping stations at Rawdat al Rashed.

Temperature set to rise from today
The maximum temperature is expected to go beyond 39C on Monday, according to the Meteorology Department yesterday. Day temperature will start rising from today onwards. The department said the rise in temperature would be caused by an extension of the Sudan thermal low to the Gulf region. The southeasterly light to moderate winds would attain speed and could pave way to sand storms on Saturday. The horizontal visibility is expected to fall.
