The newly decorated Mersey Ferry ‘Snowdrop’, painted to a design by artist Sir Peter Blake, travels on the River Mersey in front of the Liver Building (left) in Liverpool yesterday. Sir Peter Blake was on board the ferry for its re-launch. Liverpool Biennial, 14-18 NOW WW1 Centenary Art Commissions and Tate Liverpool co-commissioned Sir Peter Blake, to ‘dazzle’ the Mersey Ferry which will be in service for two years with this design.
