The patrols of Al Mazrouah wilderness unit under the Environment Protection Department of the Ministry of Environment has arrested a man for trading in a species of wild bird. He was nabbed with six birds, according to a statement issued yesterday. Earlier, another person was captured for hunting wild rabbits and selling them. Such action is punishable by a prison term not more than one year and/or a fine not more than QR20,000.
