HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday cabled congratulations to New Zealand’s governor-general, Sir Jerry Mateparae, on the occasion of his country’s National Day. HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani also cabled congratulations to the governor-general.
Also yesterday, HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani cabled congratulations to Queen Elizabeth of the United Kingdom on her accession to the throne. HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad and HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser also cabled congratulations to Queen Elizabeth on the occasion.
