Al Khalij Commercial Bank (Al Khaliji) has introduced its LoungeKey service to Premium customers holding Visa Signature credit cards, providing access to airport lounges worldwide.
The Al Khaliji Visa Signature credit card provides “unparalleled benefits and services” for the bank’s Premium Banking customers.
The launching of the product, the first Visa Signature credit card in Qatar, was part of the bank’s continued expansion and enhancement of its portfolio of innovative and customer-centric products and services, the bank said in a statement.
LoungeKey, available only to Visa Signature credit card holders, allows customers to access 500 international airport lounges, regardless of airline or travel class.
To confirm eligibility to benefit from LoungeKey programme, all new clients can visit www.loungekey.com/visasignature and log in using their 16-digit card number.
In addition to lounge access, Al Khaliji Visa Signature credit card offers a multitude of benefits to the international traveller: no fees or forex on foreign currency transactions, which can save up to 5% on overseas transactions, free Schengen-compliant multi-trip travel insurance (covering medical evacuation, emergency medical expenses, travel accident cover, baggage loss/delay, and travel delay), free extended warranty, purchase protection, and medical and legal referral.
What makes Al Khaliji’s Visa Signature credit card unique is that customers can choose from four designs and personalise it just like one’s signature, the statement said.
The Al Khaliji credit card programmes for Premium customers, which consist of Visa Signature and Visa Platinum brands, was recently awarded “Best Premium Credit Card Programme in Qatar” by the “Banker Middle East Product Awards.”
